hair prone to frizz and dryness

Do you have a problem with frizzy and dry hair? You are not alone! Many people struggle with this problem, especially in the winter or during hot weather. Frizzy, often dry strands are also a feature of medium-porous hair. Fortunately, there are many ways to tame frizzy strands and restore their healthy look and shine.

Dry and frizzy hair – how to discipline it?

The first step is to choose the right shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo for dry and frizzy hair should be gentle and moisturizing. The conditioner, on the other hand, should contain emollient ingredients that will smooth the hair and prevent frizz. Regular use of moisturizing masks will deeply hydrate the hair, which will significantly reduce frizz. It’s worth choosing masks rich in natural oils, such as argan oil, jojoba oil or coconut oil.

You should also limit the use of hair dryers. Drying your hair with hot air can dry it out and cause excessive frizz. Try to dry your hair with cool air or let it dry naturally. Hair oil is another product that can help tame frizzy strands. Oils moisturize, smooth and prevent hair from drying out. Simply apply a few drops of oil to damp or dry hair, avoiding the roots. Protecting hair from the sun is also important. The sun can dry out strands and cause frizz. Use hats or scarves to protect your hair from the sun.

Our TIPS for frizzy hair

  • Use a wide tooth comb to comb the strands.
  • Brush your hair before washing and after applying conditioner.
  • Braid your hair overnight in a loose bun or braid to prevent frizz.
  • Don’t go to bed with wet hair!
  • When blow drying your hair with a hair dryer, use a cool blow to close the hair’s cuticles.
